Veras offers excellent versatility with three complete instrument families at three different price points. Six instrument styles, wireless binaural coordination and proven adaptive technology make Veras the hearing system for all of your clients. You will be pleased by the added value you find in Veras.
Adaptive ChannelFree™ technology
A Bernafon exclusive, ChannelFree™ signal processing stays true to the original signal by treating it as a whole, rather than artificially breaking it into channels. Instead, the incoming signal is analyzed and adjusted 20 000 times per second, allowing accurate amplification at the phonemic level. In Veras, the power of ChannelFree™ is combined with advanced adaptive technology, seamlessly shifting important instrument parameters. The system always provides the best amplification as the listening environment changes. The result is clear, natural sound.
Binaural coordination
Wireless communication between the two instruments helps Veras to produce an authentic listening experience with:

Design
Bernafon's new Nano BTE is a very small, stylish instrument that fits comfortably behind the ear. Almost invisible when worn, the Nano BTE offers great fitting flexibility.
Ultimate versatility
With three price categories and six smart instrument styles, Veras is extremely versatile. All Veras BTE instruments may be fit with either Bernafon’s Spira Flex thin tube system or a conventional ear hook. Veras ITEs offer flexible choices for instrument size and local controls. Veras makes it easy to fit the majority of your clients with one hearing system.
The SoundGate is an optional wireless communication link that enables the Veras hearing system to connect to audio sources such as cell phones, computers, music players and more.
A special TV adapter sends TV audio to the SoundGate for wireless reception.
A Phone adapter is available to make it easier to hear conversations with land-line phones. An optional remote control is also available.
